chugging

Excellent run yesterday.  Did all 5 loops at Townlake in 6:08!!  29.2 miles.  Very, very happy with yesterdays run.

I was supposed to run the Lighthouse 50k Saturday but my car broke down Friday after work.   I was stuck for a while and needed to run a few errands for the run.  I just didn't feel like it.  I was pretty bummed about the car.  We finalized a loan for a newer car for Misty Thursday so I was freaking out a bit about the possibility of going from zero car payments to 2 in a matter of days.  My next thoughts were making up for the miles I'd miss for the 50k.  Townlake seemed like it made the most sense but it's so tough mentally with the repeated loops.

As it turns out Misty was my spur.  When I mentioned to her Friday night that I might do all the loops at Townlake she said, "do it"!!  When I got up Sunday morning and headed downtown I still hadn't convinced myself to do it all but I just kept chugging along and got it done.
